The Foundation's Work
The Anthony Q. Newman Foundation is fueled by two things: Anthony's mission to give back to the community that gave him the opportunity to succeed, and the support of many companies and individuals who recognize the value of a strong public education system.
Our goal is to inspire collaborative community partnerships with the purpose of improving the quality of life for all children in Oregon. Our focus is on academics, arts and athletics — all programs which have suffered as a result of budget cuts or lack of funding.
The Anthony Q. Newman Foundation has taken steps toward improving the lives of children in Oregon. We have reached out to help many programs, including a therapeutic riding program for the mentally impaired at Five Oaks Middle School, and various extracurricular activities at Hazelbrook Middle School.
Other schools and programs that have received support from the Foundation include: Grant Youth Sports, Twality Middle School, Tualatin High School, Franklin Youth Program, Archer Glen Middle School, Grant High School and Molalla High School — just to name a few!
We hope to one day fill an entire page with a list of school programs that have been implemented or restored as a result of our efforts! We can do powerful things when we work together toward a common goal. Our children deserve nothing less.
